This is a work in progress. Each week day at my school, we ask the children a trivia question. One right answer is randomly selected to pull an item from the prize box. I will begin posting the questions, for you to use without having to do the research, as quickly as I can. The questions are age appropriate for Kindergarten (although some not so easy) through sixth grade. Please do not hesitate to contact me with suggestions.

December 20
December 20 - On this day in 1803 the Louisiana Purchase was completed at a signing ceremony in this large city in Louisiana. The city is named for a French king, is known for its Mardi Gras celebrations, and it suffered tremendous loss from Hurricane Katrina. In what city was the final paperwork processed for the Louisiana Purchase?
